Head of Human Resources (HR) - Volue AS

The Head of Human Resources (HR) is an essential part of the organizational development efforts in Volue and will report to the Chief Strategy Officer. Head of Human Resources will work closely with the business management and leads the Volue HR Team.

The Head of HR will be responsible for implementing the overall HR initiatives. This team will work closely with Volue leadership and the LoBs to support the company’s efforts on reaching strategic targets. This involves ensuring Volue provide leaders with a foundation for people management, which can also allow them to keep an outward looking focus on market opportunities and technology advancement. During the growth of the Volue organization, the team will play an important role in developing and aligning the companies in the Volue group to becoming one company in terms of culture, best practices and operations. Moreover, as Volue becomes an increasingly internationalised company, HR is responsible for ensuring Volue recruits and retains talents of diverse backgrounds across several countries and offices and that the company is compliant with national regulation.

We are seeking a Head of HR that is the driving force in establishing a high-performing HR function that is close to the business and is ensuring that Volue is well known as an attractive employer.

The Head of HR drives the implementation of strategic efforts to ensure that Volue runs professional people management from recruitment throughout the employment lifecycle. Together with the leadership team, the Head of HR will be responsible for the successful implementation of international HR initiatives and organizational development efforts at local level. This encompasses a variety of areas including performance and talent management, compensation & benefits, implementation of organizational changes, mobility, employee relations, HR administration, recruiting, reporting and direct support to the lines of businesses.

Main tasks and duties:

  • Develop and drive HR strategy, policies, programs and practices in Volue.. Ensure Volue maintains and develops systems and practices in line with the technological and science-based development within people management, as well as national regulations
  • Lead and be responsible for Volue’s HR-team and ensure Volue has a strategic and operational approach to HR efforts.
  • Implement measures to articulate and maintain an open, inspiring and productive company culture and ensure informative and motivating internal communication.
  • Ensure Volue is a visible and an appealing employer able to attract talented employees from diverse backgrounds. Develop and drive the company’s efforts on ensuring diversity in the company’s workforce and leadership.
  • Support, coach and train leaders to grow leadership excellence across the company.
  • Contribute to ensuring the work force’s knowledge and capabilities are maintained and developed for Volue as a whole and on an individual level.

Who are you?
We are looking for a leader who:

  • Hold a relevant Master degree, and have a combination of strategic, analytic and operational mindset
  • Are well versed in the field of HR, with experience from both specialist and generalist HR, preferably from leading HR functions
  • Understand the importance of the business, and have a big engagement for the organizational culture, and experience from working to build a common culture despite of all differences between several countries
  • Enjoy working at all levels in the organization, you communicate well with others and inspire your employees and your co-leaders
  • Are structured and can deep into complex problem solving and have good skills for making good priorities
