VP Business Support & Improvement - Altera Infrastructure

The VP BS & I report directly to the President of Altera Infrastructure Production and will be part of the business unit's Senior Leadership Team. You will collaborate closely with all departments & regions, on- & offshore, the President and the leadership team in general. The main goal is to make the organisation to be as effective as possible, and you need to have a strong ownership to succeed. Altera Infrastructure has great ambitions, and VP BS & I is expected to take active responsibility together with the Leadership team to achieve our visions and goals.

The team consists of resources within HR on- and offshore, Crew Logistics, Training, Competency, Communication and Administration

Place of work is Trondheim.

Main accountabilities:

  • Making sure that we have an efficient and well-functioning organisation both onshore and offshore, between regions and departments
  • Foster an organsational culture in line with company values, a healthy and supportive working environment
  • Develop new organizational models and lead organisational development processes.
  • Overall follow up of improvement initiatives across and ensure the right steps are taken to position the organisation for the future
  • Drive Leadership development, strategic follow up of Senior Leadership Team and agenda
  • Establish Business Support & Improvements strategies, priorities and mandates
  • Drive learning, competency and talent development
  • Own FPSO specific HR framework, including Terms & Conditions
  • Ensure constructive collaboration with Employers’ Associations, Unions and safety delegates
  • Deliver HR budgets onshore, offshore and in new business
  • Communication Management
  • Liaise with Corporate IT & Digitalisation team to ensure tools and systems fit for purpose

Experience and education:

  • Preferably education at Master of Science (MSc/MBA) or equivalent.
  • Experience from a similar role within strategic organizational development
  • Great leadership capabilities, high integrity, drive and strong relational and cooperation skills
  • High implementation capacity and a strong ability to handle complex organisations and tasks
  • Good communication skills in English.
