CGO / Chief Growth Officer - MiniMeis

The most important/necessary aspects:

  • Growth - facilitate rapid growth by thinking creatively and breaking boundaries (we believe in testing continuously to identfiy optimal solutions- new tech, new angles, messaging, partners…. more or less everyting!)
  • Branding - develop and fine tune a comprehensive brand communication strategy for MiniMeis (together with CEO)
  • Marketing & Business Strategy - overall responsible for developing marketing across all digital channels (SoMe, Email, Youtube, Web etc). Identify new relevant and profitable channels and initiatives - both digital and offline (zoo´s/amusements parks, co branding with other awesome brands etc..) Conduct market and competitive analyses to identify relevant opportunities and associated challenges.
  • Marketing Technology- stay updated on the digital marketing landscape and on the latest marketing trends. Identify relevant technology to support strategy and growth.
  • Marketing analytics - a good understanding of data and underlying metrics for driving performance in SoMe and other digital channels (we work closely with analytic agencies and FB).
  • Marketing ROI - Create and oversee metrics and KPIs on key activities to ensure control and to document the effect of the company's marketing communication. Oversee and optimise social media advertising and digital brand management to engage the right audiences (global ads, placements etc)
  • Content creation - overall responsibility for content strategies across all channels. Lead creative work on marketing from ideas to production of content
  • Understanding evolving customer needs - be on top of what makes customers tick to attract new customers and ensure loyal and engaged customers
  • Public awareness - develop and maintain marketing strategies and identify relevant partners to build public awareness

As our new CGO - we think you are:

  • Experienced within global E-commerce. Maybe you have previously successfully taken a D2C company global or you have created highly successful digital campaigns.
  • Updated and interested in the digital marketing landscape and the latest marketing trends. Our business is highly digital and so a deep understanding of digital marketing is a must!
  • Creative and authentic in your belief. To strengthen and reinforce the MiniMeis brand we believe we need to be in the forefront of creative thinking and marketing, and authentic in everything we do.
  • Internationally oriented - our market is global and our working language is mostly English, so understanding the dynamics of different markets is key. An international network is a bonus
  • Result orientated
  • Experienced with big marketing budgets and budget responsibility
  • Relevant education at college or university level
  • Relevant experience may compensate for a lack of formal education

We are based in central Oslo in our brand new office that has been converted from an old metal foundry. We like to think that the office reflects our culture - warm, genuine and not overly polished:)
As our business is global we work closely with associates and partners around the world and our business language is English.
